Piano lessons that meet you exactly where you are

With 20 years of teaching experience, I bring a unique blend of musical mastery and real-world understanding to every lesson. I studied under a Master Pianist and performed in extraordinary ensemble concerts featuring five grand pianos — experiences that deepened my love for music’s collaborative power. But what truly shapes my teaching is my background in insurance training, where I learned to break down complex concepts and help adults master challenging material.

I believe learning piano should feel like a conversation, not a test. My approach is rooted in patience and observation — I watch carefully to understand exactly how you process new information, then adapt my teaching to match your learning style. I’ll strike that perfect balance between comfort and growth, ensuring you feel supported as you stretch into new musical territory.

Music isn’t just notes on a page; it’s a reflection of life itself. I love connecting what we learn at the piano to the world around us, using humor and genuine care to create lessons that feel both meaningful and joyful. My students know they have a teacher who truly sees them and celebrates their unique musical journey.

My ideal student is curious and willing to try new things — whether they’re 5 or 75. I meet every single one of them exactly where they are, and we figure out the rest together. This is me, looking for you.

What you need

Tech requirements

A Piano

There are two types of pianos today. Digital (with a plug) and Acoustic (no wall plug). These each have their pros and cons. Digital never needs to be tuned and headsets can be used. Acoustics have a different fuller sound but need to be tuned once or twice a year.

Stable wifi

A reliable internet connection for clear video and sound is very important for us to connect.

A device with a camera and microphone

This can be a computer, laptop, tablet, or phone. I just need to see you and your instrument with decent sound. You might need a floor stand to hold a phone or a tablet.
